Razer announces the BlackWidow gaming keyboards

Razer has taken advantage of gamescon to unveil its newest gamer-oriented peripherals, the BlackWidow and BlackWidow Ultimate wired keyboards boasting a 'unique' tactile mechanical key architecture which is claimed to provide a great response and tactile feedback similar to a mouse click.
The two keyboards also feature key actuation points that provide greater precision and accuracy, fully programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording, five gaming-dedicated keys, a 1ms response time, a Gaming mode, and USB connectivity. The Ultimate model also has audio and microphone out jacks, an USB port, and an illumination system with 5 levels of lighting.
"The Razer BlackWidow is the world's first mechanical keyboard that has been engineered from ground up for gaming," said Robert 'Razerguy' Krakoff, president, Razer. "Imagine every single key on the keyboard with the precision of a mouse click - no more pressing of keys without knowing for certain if they have been actuated. Precision clicking coupled with an optimized lighter key actuation force, this changes the way gamers will play from now on."
The BlackWidow and BlackWidow Ultimate will become available in September priced at $79.99 / €79.99 and $129.99 / €129.99, respectively.
